3-Minute Climb to Success: How to Find Your Why

3-Minute Climb to Success: How to Find Your Why

Mark here.

Today, let’s talk about something that fuels every step we take and every challenge we face: Purpose.

We all have moments when we ask, Why am I doing this?

When things get tough, that question can creep in.

But here’s the truth—when you truly understand your “why,” everything changes.

You stop running from challenges and start embracing them.

Your “why” becomes the fuel that keeps you moving forward, no matter what.

For me, finding my “why” took deep reflection.

After my NFL career ended, I wondered, What comes next?

Was that the pinnacle, or was there something more?

That’s when I realized my journey wasn’t over—it was just beginning.

My “why” became about pushing myself to new limits and using my experiences to inspire others.

When I took on the Seven Summits, it wasn’t just about climbing the highest peaks.

It was about showing others that they can do more, be more, and chase their dreams, no matter how big.

So, how do you find your “why”?

Ask yourself: What truly motivates me?

Your “why” doesn’t need to be grand at first.

But once you find it, everything becomes more fulfilling.

Your actions align with purpose, and you’re no longer just going through the motions—you’re on a mission.

Here’s my challenge to you: Reflect on your “why.”

What drives you? What legacy do you want to leave behind?

What is your Everest?

These are big questions, but finding your answers will give your journey meaning.

Take Action:

  • Reflect on your purpose: What gets you moving each day?
  • Align your actions: Make sure each step brings you closer to your mission.
  • Stay focused: When it gets tough, remember your “why.”

Your “why” is your compass. Once you find it, the sky’s the limit.

Let’s find your Everest together!

Best,

Mark
