Peak Performance Speaker
Mark Pattison has performed at the highest level in two extreme worlds, the NFL and 8,000-meter expeditions. His keynote is about what actually sustains peak output, and why intensity without recovery always loses.
Booked by leaders at Google, Harvard, Sports Illustrated, FLUKE, Q Sciences and EO.

The real lesson
In the NFL, Mark learned that the players who lasted were not always the most talented, they were the ones who understood load, recovery, and pacing well enough to still be standing in week 14. On the mountain, that same lesson became a matter of life and death, above 8,000 meters, pushing too hard for too long kills you just as fast as not pushing at all.
This keynote is about the difference between intensity and consistency. Intensity is what gets your team excited for a quarter. Consistency, built on real recovery, is what keeps them performing for years. Most peak-performance talks sell the first one. This one teaches the second.
Every takeaway is measurable, your team leaves with a way to audit their own output and recovery, not just a burst of motivation that fades by Friday.

Why book Mark
Performance under load tested in the NFL and above 8,000 meters, not just theory from a book.
A framework that treats rest and pacing as performance tools, not a break from performing.
A clear distinction your team can use to build performance that actually lasts.
A way to audit your own output and recovery, not just a temporary spike in energy.
Clear, practical frameworks your team can apply immediately. No theory, just results.
A keynote audiences remember, apply, and talk about long after the lights come up.
The outcome
Signature keynote
Mark draws on two extreme performance environments, the NFL and high-altitude mountaineering, to show your team how to sustain elite output over the long haul instead of burning bright and flaming out by Q3.
Your speaker

Mark Pattison played in the NFL for the Raiders, Saints, and Rams, spent a decade as a Sports Illustrated executive, and became the first NFL player to complete the Seven Summits with his ascent of Mount Everest.
His climb became the NFL Films documentary Searching for the Summit, which won a Sports Emmy in 2022. Two decades of performing at elite levels, in the NFL and above 8,000 meters, taught him what actually sustains peak output over time.
